This concept project was created for a local library’s fundraising event featuring handmade chocolate-dipped strawberries for Valentine’s Day. The poster’s key visual was designed around a large, appetizing strawberry to immediately capture attention and convey the indulgent, celebratory mood of the event. A color palette inspired by fresh strawberries and soft pink tones associated with love was used, paired with a subtle vintage aesthetic to create a warm and nostalgic feel. The design was also adapted into multiple size variations for social media posts to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
Book Hangover: Immersive Typographic Design
For this book club merchandise project, I visualized the moment when a reader becomes fully immersed in a book.
Using the cross-section of an open book and the flow of repeating text, I conveyed the feeling of being gradually drawn into the story, where pages and sentences continue seamlessly around the reader.
This key visual was designed as a typographic pattern that could be applied across merchandise such as tote bags, mugs, and bookmarks.
